GOLD MEDAL AWARD BY CIRCULO DE EMPRESARIOS DE GALICIA Participants: Mr. Jaime Borrás President of Club Financiero Vigo Honourable Mrs. Elena Espinosa Minister of Fisheries Honourable Mr. Abel Caballero Mayor of Vigo Honourable Mr. Alberto Feijoo President of Xunta de Galicia On last 27th November 2009 the Honourable Mr. Alberto Núñez Feijoo, President of the Xunta de Galicia, presented the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia Gold Medal to our President Mr. José Pereira Alvarez. Relevant national, autonomous and provincial authorities, representatives of different both public and private institutions, Galician society profesionals, friends and, of course, his family were present at the ceremony. The participants emphasized the profesional and human sides of Mr. José Pereira as well as the good qualities of his enterprising spirit. A charming man who by working tenaciously he set up and developed the Grupo Pereira. Mr. José Pereira thanked the members of Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia for the award and pointed out that he had to share it with the fishing profesionals of Vigo. He made special mention of those who are not present in his life yet but were an essential part of his project. He thanked also his people at the Grupo Pereira to contribute to the success of it. Mr. José Pereira had an emotive word of thanks for his family who was also supporting him.
